ToadLand – WebGL
This was a WebGL game I made for DRi which served as a browser preview of the players dwellings in an RPG game. Made in Unity, the task was to make 8 beautiful biomes in the style of Studio Ghibli which could run in any browser, including on mobile. WebGL isn’t known for it’s high end graphics so I was really pleased how nice these ended up looking, complete with light scattering through the toon style foliage, and water distortion and reflections. I made all the assets, utilised every last scrap of my optimisation knowledge and developed the flythrough controls. A simple yet satisfying bit of work.
